Our History and Mission

She's My Daughter (SMD) was founded by Daryl Dudley, our Chief Visionary Officer. Having served in the music and education industries for over 25 years, Daryl realized that modern culture fosters a profound disrespect for women. He understood that violence against and exploitation of women are manifestations of men’s failure to recognize the inherent worth and equality of women. Daryl believes that men play the most significant role in ensuring that women are safe, treated with dignity, and respected as equals. SMD's mission is to eradicate violence against women by enlisting men to serve as their protectors and advocates. Until we fulfill our vision of a world free from violence against women, we will provide steadfast support for victims and work tirelessly to empower women and girls.
